This past hockey season, sports fans all over the state of Michigan—including the staff of Bill Crispin Chevrolet—said goodbye to a staple of Detroit sports since 1979, The Joe Lewis Arena. The Joe was the site of four Stanley Cup seasons and countless other incredible moments. It’s a bittersweet time for many Red Wings fans to have to say goodbye to such an iconic building, but the all-new Little Caesars Arena and its cutting-edge facilities should help soften the blow when it opens its doors for the 2017-18 season. Helping to make the Red Wings’ new home as memorable as The Joe will be Chevrolet, which will be the official vehicle of Little Caesars Arena from the moment the first puck drops.
Chevrolet will remain the official vehicle of the Detroit Red Wings, and it will leave an indelible mark on Little Caesars Arena. In addition to branding on the Woodward Avenue-facing entrance, the Chevrolet Plaza is an outdoor venue that will host music and entertainment events throughout the year. Chevrolet vehicles will also be used in displays throughout the arena, and the world-famous bowtie emblem will be as prevalent in Little Caesars Arena as banners are in the rafters.
The new arena has a lot for fans to be excited about as it is packed with state-of-the-art technology and other improvements that will make it the envy of teams across the NHL. From improved seating and club spaces to Wi-Fi and mobile ticketing all the way to the greater connection to the city and entertainment through The District Detroit and, of course, Chevrolet Plaza, this arena is going to be an incredible experience for all the fans that attend.
We at Bill Crispin Chevrolet are excited to see what the future holds for the Red Wings and their new arena, and we are proud to sell the official vehicle of Little Caesars Arena right here in our showroom.
